What I liked about this art piece is that it is very colorful. If I did this project If this was my project I would make it look more clear. But overall I think that the idea you got to make a beetle was really cool! -- Jamie

Jessica, your piece is well-tessellated - accurately positioned across the entire page. In your artist statement, you have identified some aspects that make doing art on the computer easier than on paper - instantaneous changing of color with the paint bucket, copying and pasting to duplicate an item, and perhaps my favorite - the undo button. As you mentioned, it's a bit hard to see the beetle; perhaps adding a few more descriptive details would help - where its wings are, legs, making the eyes stand out more, etc. I find the seahorse easier to see. Your shape areas contrast well and yes, the design is very colorful. You have demonstrated a lot of learning here.
