Hey Cevan, I love you Black Panther! You really captured his essence and created a sense of movement in his pose. I see that you used purple to show where his suit was activated/has kinetic energy stored in it. The way you have the picture cropped in addition to where you chose to show his suits kinetic energy makes the viewer wonder “what happened right before this moment” and also wonder “what will happen next.” Thus creating a wonderful sense of suspense. Excellent! -- Chanel

Hey Cevan, This is great! I showed it to Ali and he loved it! He thought they were amazing. He said “mom! Look! Transformers! Wow, so cool!” I like how you used line to create a sense of space and depth between the transformers. Keep up the great work Your fan, Aunt Chanel -- Aunt Chanel

Hey Cevan, This is a great portrait of Falcon! It looks like him. I like how you chose to drawn him in action actually playing ball versus still holding a ball. I think that captures Falcon’s athleticism well. In addition, I like how you really created a sense of movement in this picture by choosing his body position so carefully and the lines to the left of his leg and arms really lend themselves to that. He looks like he is rushing by towards a hole-in-one... just kidding. That’s a joke. I know I’m basketball it’s called a ... basket? ... no, a slam dunk! Right, it looks like he is zooming straight for the net to make a slam dunk a la Michael Jordan. Great work! -- Aunt Chanel

hey cevan I love the sketch! Its interesting how the ship sunk due to the overconfidence of the engineers and captain(and others). Its a good story with a good lesson. Anyway, I like your use of space and how you showed several views of the cruise liner. I like how the different views of the ship highlight different structural elements but also can represent the different perspectives of the passengers of the ship (first class vs. second and third class) as well as different historical perspectives as it relates to who's to blame for the sinking. The change in perspective down the page pulls the viewers eye forward in the page toward were you have the iceburg, similar to how the ship cruised forward into the iceburg. Its an interesting way to represent a well-known historical event. I like that you focused on the ship instead of the passengers (which is how people ALWAYS view it). To me its like saying that the people were there, but the ship served as a witness against and for the p

Hey Cevan, This is Aunt Chanel! I have to say how much I really enjoy looking at all of the things that you included in this picture. I love how we can see how the train winds from the top corner of the picture to the bottom. When I follow the train with my eyes, it takes me past all of the other lovely things you included in your art. I look at the engine with the steam, zooming past the pond with cat's tails/ grass in it, and the trees full of fruit. I also like seeing the little animal you have in the right corner with the big fluffy tail. Is that animal a squirrel, and are those fruit acorns? Also, I like how toward the caboose of the train, you have the sunshine and the jet zooming by. This picture tells me how people and technology can work together with nature to make a more beautiful world full of clean air, water, and soil all for businesses, humans, plants, and animals. -- Chanel
