I like this, it is comical. I believe it is a paintbrush with a face? Anyway I like it, Lawson, keep painting! Or perhaps it is a paintbrush doing double duty as an ice cream cone!

I enjoy your artwork, Lawson, and hope you continue to try to develop your own sense of style and medium. Keep it up! Love from Gramma Canada!

I like this and the thought behind it. ?VBut I must admit the hydrangea in the jar, the strawberries, and the mother and child are my favorites!

Lawson, Gramma Canada likes your new piece very much. I hope you have kept drawing through the summer. I guess you are back to school now for a while, our students here in Canada do not go back until the first week of September usually, (unless they have to go early to make up for days missed from winter storms!). My friend, Brenda, says your work reminds her of Chagall's work. he was a famous artist - your dad can help you look up his work on the internet or at a library book. Bye for now. Keep drawing!

I think Lawson's work is truly beautiful but I'm biased, because I'm his grandmother in Canada!

I like this one, Lawson, I am glad you are learning about Mary and the Baby Jesus. My choir is singing some nice songs tomorrow evening at the church I play for, and they are all about the Christmas story! I am getting some little little packages ready to mail to you. We have lots of rain, no snow.

Lawson, this is Gramma Canada. I love your artwork. Especially I like the last one, and the rooster, the cat, and the caterpillar. Your cloud above the house and tree (the last one) looks like a frog with its legs out behind it. Did you notice? Great work! Keep at it. Your great great great aunt was quite a good artist, Sophronia Jane Sanford, and Uncle Quentin has done some nice drawing too. And I have 'dabbled' in pastels and oils. I should get back to it, if I ever get time!
