Ben, I love the art work, I think this is my favorite, as it reminds me of the bird houses that your Great Grandma and Grandpa (my mom and dad) built and put in around their home and down at the creek! Can't wait to see you! Love Aunt Judy

Ben, I loved looking at all of your artwork! I think my favorite one is the one of the bird houses, but it was hard to pick a favorite! You are very creative! Keep up the great work! Aunt Liz

Those are some great looking birdhouses. And your marker coloring technique is really looking good.

Shapes are everywhere in our drawings. And we are learning how to look for shapes in everything we see and draw. Another thing with shapes we can 'tell' a story with our shapes. One is in front and others are behind. This 'telling' we learn how to draw pictures with more interest.
Dragons were fun to draw for our next lesson in lines. Here we begin to work on the coloring with markers. I am looking for bright full colors. Watch out for little white gaps in your color. The goal is to have solid shapes of color. And when the marker isn't giving you complete coverage-----TOSS IT! We want great colors for our dragons!
