I like your interpretation of the Japanese Buddhism Zen that gives insight into one's true nature, or the emptiness of inherent existence, which opens the way to a liberated way of living. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing Josh. Alexander Calder is one of my favorite's too. I love the simplicity, color and expression of his mobiles.

Very cool trick to combine the pencil sketch with the colorful hair. Did you use straws to blow the puddles of paint into red, orange and blue hair strands?

Hi Joshua, Your stained glass window reminds me of all the cathedrals in Europe; especially the shade of the blus color. I look forward to showing them to you some day. Love, Your Aunt Cherie

What an interesting art project Joshua. I recognized your interpretation of the original "American Gothic" painting right away. It is a painting by Grant Wood from 1930 that hangs in the Art Institute in downtown Chicago. The artist started with a house and then drew the people he thought lived there. Very cool.
