Irene, you have effectively used a variety of brush tools and gradients to complete your dragon tessellation. Your project really takes advantage of the layers option, making quick changes in one dragon's color to another. I'm glad you eventually figured out the merging step (included in tutorial). This does make things quicker and usually eliminates the freezing issues you described.
