Hi Emily, You did a wonderful drawing of your wax museum character, Florence Nightingale. The shading and facial expression tells a lot about her character. The costume also is true to the period in which she lived. Well done, Em! -- Britt

I really like the pink and red, it is different also the border above the pink strip adds some "pazazz". This would make a nice blanket or floor mat for your doll house -- Yvonne

Wow, what a wonderful choice of colors for your leaf. Wonder if that was you coloring it directly or an editing tool on computer? It really makes the leaf "pop", and the shading is very effective. Such a great art project, thank you for continuing to share your creative spirit through art! -- Britt

A place fit for a strong king who still liked to have bright colors and fun. A happy day in his place, or maybe it is the palace of a wonderful queen? Lots of green grass and sunshine to play around near the palace walls. -- Britt

Hi Emily, This is really an interesting way to show you are learning about the art of Gustav Klimt. I really like the subtle yellow color you chose, and the outline and texture of the tree is nicely indicated. This is one of my favorites of your artwork posted here. Art appreciation is a life long gift that keeps on giving as long as we keep our eyes and mind open. -- Britt

Hi Em, That is what we need, a colorful fun chair. Do you think it really could be made from paper and hold up a person? I think it could be done but maybe had to roll up lots of thin tubes and glue them together. I did sit in a Frank Lloyd wright chair once, it looks cool, but is really uncomfortable. I like the idea of having the cylinder in the base and round seat. Morfar would have liked that you design furniture, since that is what architect did at his office and factory. Keep up the fun. -- Nana

Hi Emily, Wouldn't it be fun to have a robot that looked as cool as this one. it would be useful if it could do something like catch fish or pick up clothes from the floor, but also look great when it was parked in your room like a sculpture. Love seeing the different projects you work on in art, this is really one of my favorites. Maybe you will build a robot some day. I know you can make it play Happy birthday…….. -- Britt

Emily, I see you were inspired by one of my favorite artists, Georgia O'Keefe, when you did this terrific picture. It looks like it was a collage, and the background is so perfect for where she lived and worked, in New Mexico. There were huge cattle ranches there since early settler days, and I am sure some of them did not make it in the hot and dry climate, (red and yellow represents that), and the skull is what is left after the animal bones were in the sun for a long time. I really love this picture, you can tell. Well done, Emily, Love NANA -- Britt
