Wow Karli! This is my favourite so far, though I really like all of your art. I am partial to water colour painting--really liked it in my art classes of long ago. Your picture makes me want to go out and enjoy the beautiful northern lights! I love the depth in the picture and how real the snow looks. The brown tufts of grass look so real too. My favourite part is the birch trees! God made a beautiful world and you captured the joy of seeing and experiencing it through a young girl's eyes the way you painted it! I see a bit of God's glory here--the beauty of His creation & the abilities He gives mankind in capturing it! PRAISE GOD!

Wow-weeee!! I have never done shadowing with paint! I did a charcoal self portrait long ago and you could tell it was a girl-Ha! You did an amazing job on this. Did u trace that before you painted it? It looks just like you! Way to go! No suprises here! She surpasses even the most decorated artists of our time! Picasso is a joke! Who dares challenge kizzle to an art contest? oh no not I. She says, "hey, that's my face, and i shall paint it." And we say, "She has skillz." No big deal. A exhibition of greatness. As a horse gallops across the field with poise and little effort, so does she use a paint brush.

I really like this type of art, that is, shaded pencil drawings. I would put this particular drawing into my favorite category. The lighting, the shadowing, very nice work!! You are very talented, look forward to the next one.
