You just keep getting better and better! One of my favorite parts of this composition is the way the stripes keep your eye moving and the shapes are "implied" without outlines. Way to go -- and keep it up. Art activities get better and better throughout the years. Promise! Today I have been working on my piece for Day of the Dead. When it is finished I will send a picture. -- Patty

First of all, I love the title of this piece. The way Katelyn has used the family of greens, along with the bare branches of the center tree, gives the piece a piece a wintery beauty. I can just hear the wind whistling through the tree in the center! And, the use of the collage material (musical notes) in the snowy area is another thing that draws you into the composition. Beautiful work. -- Patty
