This is called jelli printing, we use a special gel-mat and I placed drops of different paint colors on it, then pressed my paper onto the mat. This is the resulting image.

Great colors--it looks like a fish bowl--but all the triangles and rectangles and colors make it seem like I am seeing the whole thing through a distorting glass--like a fish seeing us from its fish bowl. This is fun. It makes me want to draw fish.

(They were learning use of space, but the terms I offered were not discussed in class. I, mom, was "wrong. All wrong".
