Hi Luke, The Aztec Pyramid looks impressive as it towers towards the moon and sky! Lots of colors, yellow, blue, brown, different shades of green - lots to please the eye. Would you like to climb inside the Pyramid, what might you see? You have awakened our curiosity! Keep up the good work Luke!

Hi Luke, Wow, your superhero looks determined to enter cyber space with great strength. Love his cape, superhero suit, cape, belt, boots, gloves - so much attention to details. Love the outreached hand, reaching for great heights. And you Luke, you reach for great heights also in all that you do. Keep up the excellent work. Grandmaman Grandpapa

Hi Luke, We never liked Graffiti until now! We like the dramatic shape of the letters, the colors you have utilized to give boldness to your name, a different color for the arrows, the black bold lines which call attention to your name softened by the white color, there is such power coming out of this piece you have created! Amazing! Love, Grandpapa and Grandmaman

Hi Luke, Grandpapa was so pleased with this piece of art titled "Grandpapa". He wears glasses, is pretty bald and has big feet. Above all he is holding you and Molly because he loves you very much. You have given yourself red hair and Molly her blonde hair. We like the colors - red, black, brown, beige, pink. What made you think of creating this wonderful trio of people we love? Thanks for thinking of Grandpapa and his love for you and Molly!!! Love, Grandpapa, Grandmaman

Love your Keith Haring figures. To us, these figures resemble a baseball player in action - maybe that is because we saw you in action recently on the ball field!! Great job. Love, Grandpapa, Grandmama

Hi Luke, Another creative piece of art! Love this underwater collage. You drew the underwater creatures with such real movement that they actually appear to be swimming. Mouth open, legs kicking, various hues of color - this drawing has the appearance of being real, like being close by where I can stand and watch the creatures interact with one another. You will have to tell us more of what you placed in that drawing when we see you. We certainly observed the bright gold color, the dabs of white, green blue, orange, purple. Don't forget to tell us more when we see you. Love, Grandpapa and Grandmaman

Dear Luke, Oh, these colorful circles are so beautiful, we like the squares also. When we first looked at the circles, we thought of the liquid bubbles children blow into the air - joy and laughter. We did not see chaos, just lovely "bubbles". Love, Grandmaman and Grandpapa

Dear Luke, I love Phil the snowman! He looks ready to stand guard on a cold, snowy day outside your house! I especially like the way your made his scarf look like it's blowing in the wind. Keep up the great work! Love, Auntie Lise.

Hi Luke, A paper world! Wish my imagination matched yours! I love the shapes, colors, the one person who appears to be rushing somewhere with his briefcase. What is he about to face - not sure, neither is he - apparently. I would love to hear your thoughts as you created this piece of art. What and who inspired you? See you soon. Love, Grandmaman

Hi Luke, You really captured the various shades of orange in this lovely leaf. It reminds us of the various stages of this fall season, ever changing, ever beautiful. Thank you Luke for reminding us to appreciate the beauty of nature in all of its stages, just like the stages of our own lives. So glad you are using your many gifts so well. Hi Luke, Wow, you are now a third grader and still doing beautiful eye catching art work. Grandpapa and I love your Radial Design - love the colors, the shape, the different lines - we had fun guessing what it might be - looks somewhat like a spider web but different, looks like a bullseye but different, looks like an eye straining to see that big wide world out there. It does not have to represent anything in particular for us to love it Luke - it is enough for us to know that this is your work, your design. Much love, Grandpapa and Grandmaman

Hi Luke, Love this beautiful bird! Looks like he is outgrowing his nest with his tail and beak stretching over the sides of the intricate nest. Great work in a new medium. Were you inspired by the numerous birds who live in your backyard between your house and your family's peaceful pond? Love, Grandpapa and Grandmaman

Hi Luke, It must have taken lots of time and patience as well as a good imagination for drawing such lovely complementary colors. I must say I see lots of "eights", donuts, chain links, masks and something that would look so nice on fabric used for accent pillows. As always Luke, you challenge our imagination! Love, Grandmaman

Hi Luke, Love this one also. So many different shapes, so many lovely colors, all so well arranged and spaced on your canvas. When you come tomorrow, we would like to hear more about it. That purple image with the white dot fascinates us. Hmmm! See you tomorrow. Love, Grandpapa and Grandmaman

Dear Luke, Grandpapa and I love this latest piece of art you have created! We love all you have included in the busy sky as well as the majestic Christmas tree reaching for the stars. The tree appears to want to join the excitement depicted in the sky! The buildings, the homes below, appear so peaceful and quiet as they seem to sense something great happening in the sky above. Love, Grandmaman

Our very dear Luke, Grandpapa and I just love this owl! He looks cold, like he is wrapped up tightly in his outer covering. His eyes look very inquisitive, just as inquisitive as you are Luke! Love his little feet - love the yellow color carried in his feet and around his eyes. You chose such a pretty shade of brown for the rest of the owl. We keep looking at the markings in black on his coat. So many details, such a lovely piece of art. Thank you Luke for sharing your art work with us. Love, Grandmaman & Grandpapa

Hey Luke, is that a beaver hut in the middle of the river? I was just wondering since we saw the one on the pond yesterday. Great painting!

Hi Luke, Love this water landscape - great job. I love how you give the illusion of distance, especially with the stream of water which begins wide at the lower part of the page and decreases in size as you look "in the distance". I would love to talk with you about the other things I see and like in this piece of art. Love, Grandmaman

Hi Luke, Wow! How I just LOVE this bear in its winter cave! The blue colors make me actually feel the cold temperature - brrrrr. But the bear is obviously happy to have this shelter. I like the expression on the bear's face. His cave with the black background looks like a safe place for the bear to spend his winter until all that falling snow has passed. Thank you Luke for giving us the pleasure of viewing your lovely art work.
