Dear Shayna and Ms. Neal, I just want to tell you how happy I was to take advantage of the 'gift' ideas using your art. I ordered not one, but three items to be used for Christmas presents and I absolutely love them all. Shayna, although this message is sent to you, I really want to send a comment to Mrs. Neal your aunt teacher. Remember how Nanma asked you about the lines that were on the page? Now I know how you got that look. You used glue to make lines and then painted over it. That did not show up in the replica that I made for Nanma's desk but I still love it anyway. Shayna did you know that Nanma was the art teacher at the preschool she taught at? That is why I love playing with colors too. I love watching you at home always wanting to explore and color. It inspired me to go out and look for something extra special for you for Christmas that will help bring out all your artistic ideas. But you'll have to wait unti Christmas to see it. I just LOVE your first piece Shayna! When I look at it, I see where there was a rainstorm, and then the clouds parted, sunlight shone from above, and a rainbow appeared.
