Now that I have seen the model that this piece was drawn from, it is even better because of the accuracy to the original. Way to go Darian.

Darian, this is funny...the sad face holding the happy face...the puppet on strings...the ventriloquist ? The clown reminds me of the scarecrow from the original Wizard of Oz with the tin man's hat...

At first glance, this picture could be 3D. The ribbon and the snowy background appear to be different planes. The colors draw attention to themselves because the background blue is uneven depending on your angle of view, which I am sure you did on purpose. This is a very good project and shows you are grasping the medium...

Darian, Great work. Nice detail- the haystacks, the shrubs in front of the church, and the path that narrows as you get near the church. I can see your art getting better and better as new pieces are added to the collection. Thank you.

Your art project reminds me of a tropical beach that I have seen possibly in the Bahamas or in Southwest Florida. It definitely brings to mind a musical production which is a favorite of mine called South Pacific. Thank you for bringing these memories to my recollection. Grandpa Paul

We don't see as many frogs as we used to around here. Glad that you have painted this one...if we had more frogs we would have less flies. You are a very talented young man with a good eye for art.

Cool scarecrow. he doesn't look TOO scarey, but you know what?. My Dad ,your Great Grandfather, often wore a hat like the one on your scarecrow. His name was Felix, like your middle name and he was never very scarey either. Good Job...Now i have a question for you...Do you know what your Great Grandmother's name was??? It is ok to ask your Mom
