I LOVE the background color choices! The purple is almost a halo or aura or bubble of thought and mental energy.

I cant wait to hear about this work! It makes me think the white animal is a ghost and is dreaming or experiencing some kind of visitation from another animal or even a different form of himself.

I think the choice of purple as a background is a really good one. For me, it has a rich and deep quality, a truthful feeling and a combination of warm and cold. I like the one eye covered by hair. It seems a bit mysterous in an intentional way. Hiding on purpose. It is difficult to read the text on this format but I want to know what the artist has chosen to surround his self portrait with.

There is great focus and intention in the expression of the character. It makes me want to know some of the story. Very powerful. I wonder if the plant he is holding is sacred or magical.

Whenever I see this image, it makes me smile and feel like I better get ready to duck! I love the wintercolors contrasting with the warm colors of the birds.
