What a wonderful, whimsical piece this is-- i'm guessing it's a kiln-fired ceramic. The only thing I would have liked to see added to the photo is something to provide scale of size-- a quarter, for example-- but I love the hat, the scarf, and the arms... nicely done. -- Jonathan
