Mallory, this piece is particularly striking. Even though the wolf is defined in a silhouette, I get a sense of movement. The curve of the head upward, the bending of the tree limbs, the oval/half-moon shape of the mountain - they all show interest and movement. The scene is depicted as if the wolf had been running full blast to get to the top of the mountain and stopped to howl at the setting sun. Well done, I cannot wait to see how you incorporate other key elements into future artworks.
