Ari's brother Chris was asking about this piece and she told him she was thinking of our family vacation on Longboat Key, FL when I thought I found a sand dollar in the surf and realized it was a crab after I had picked it up and had it out of the water. She loved seeing me scream and run in water trying to get away from a critter I had in my hand! I love that she has fun memories to inspire her work! -- Momma
