I love your sun tile, Aly! She has your beautiful blue eyes! I also thought Dewayne, Elijah, & Paris had interesting expresseions on their sun tile faces. Just a little different slant on eyebrows & mouth can give show completely different emotions. I guess that's an important thing for all of us to remember - how others are interpretting the expressions on our faces. I love you! Summer vacation is just a few days away!

Cool as usual, Miss Al!!!! I would have had a difficult time deciding where to put the pieces, or even to spell "Reese's Puffs" correctly once I cut it up!!! Great job, Als!!

If I was looking for an illustrator for Dr. Seuss books I'd hire you, Aly! Does this character have a name? Another great creation by Awesome Artist Aly!

Hi Aly. I LOVE your hearts! I continue to be amazed by your exceptional artistic talent. And I'm not just saying that because you're my dear, sweet granddaughter. I can see you being a world famous artist or designer some day. I'm so glad your teacher this year has allowed me to see your artwork. Please tell her "thank you" from your Grandma!

Hi Aly, I love your Glassware Art. I didn't notice that anyone else very artistically added their name to their artwork. You are SO clever!! Maybe you can make a frame & use it as a sun-catcher in your room. Good job!

I like your fall artwork, Aly! We have mostly yellow leaves around Fowler, from the cottonwood trees. It's very pretty this time of year, but they will soon be all gone. If you were here I would carve a pumpkin face for you! Be careful on Halloween & save some bubble gum for Papa. ;-)

I love this, Al - the way the leaves contrast with the background and the different colors that come through in the background - very neat!! - Mom

This is very interesting, Aly! I didn't know that praying mantises groomed themselves, & sometimes chomps off her mate's head (ugh)! I wonder why they call them "praying" mantises. This is a very nice picture.

Your "Miss Liberty" is very attractive, Aly. She looks kind & happy to be welcoming all the visitors to New York. If you ever visit New York you can see if she really does have pierced ears! :)

It's such a treat for me to see your art work somewhere besides my refrigerator & the white board in the basement! Tell your teacher that this is wonderful for "long-distance-grandparents". PS I'm glad you had fun at Focus on the Family & at the reunion.

I think that having a nice, long name makes your "bug" very interesting. I love the colors!

turn your head sideways to look at the body of the bug - Aly's full name in cursive (plus it's mirror image) makes up the body of the bug. Thanks for showing me, Al - I would have missed it!!
