It looks like you painted the apple tree on a paper plate. That's what "folk artists" usually do. They don't have canvases or drawing tablets so they create art by painting and drawing on whatever might be lying around. It might be an old piece of wood or metal, some cardboard, or something else they find like a paper plate! Why don't you google folk art sometime and see what you can find out about it. Brant, I loved being able to watch you paint YOUR COW. I think it is my favorite piece you have ever done, but I know with Rembrant there is so much more on the horizon. I love the copper color, too. Brant, this may be my FAVORITE piece. You did A wonderful job!!! Art can touch the heart and speak to people. This spoke to me. I saw "Lady Liberty" from a distance and close up on my visits to New York. I hope to take you to New York one day to see the Statue of Liberty. She is beautiful. Just like your drawing! I love this!
