As they say in Massachusetts - "Wicked Good!" Looks like the wicked witch of the west. Love the hat! Nice work Mackenzie!

Love it! That is one fierce recycled lion! Nice monochromatic theme with the startlingly beautiful blue-green eyes! Teeth are great. What a trophy for a wall!.

Wonderful dragonfly! Nice interpretation. great selection for a kinetic sculpture. I like the blue detail also. they are one of my favorite bugs. they eat mosquitoes. On an antique appraiser show on PBS, I saw a bejeweled dragonfly pin with wings mounted on springs. I can't remember their name, but the wings had movement when used as a brooch on a dress or a jacket. great job! That's a keeper.

Hi Mackenzie, Beautiful graphic image of one of my favorite subjects! Composition really works well. The eye travels all around the piece. The colors and shapes go nicely with the warm Summer day. Very Excellent!

Hi Mackenzie, Isn't sculpture fun? This piece has graceful lines. The dancer looks like a Spanish Flamenco dancer. I like the combination of a bronze metal and the incorporation of a fabric fringe on the skirt. Degas painted ballet dancers but a very popular sculpture of his can be viewed at the Boston MFA. His bronze dancer has what looks like a fabric dancers skirt though it might be some type of mesh. Thank you for sharing. What fun!

Great job on your colorful coiled pot/basket Mackenzie! The shape reminds me of "amphora" pots used to transport oil in sailing ships that sunk from Egypt and Turkey. The bright blue color also reminds me of the prized Lapis Lazuli used as enhancement of objects in ancient times. Your coils are so even! Nice work.

Nice work! I like the technique to make it look like a fossil - it really does! Love the smile. The earthy colors also remind me of early cave paintings. I like how you have all of the bones arranged. It is a wonderful assignment for fall and Halloween. Looks like you had fun!

Hi Mackenzie, This artwork of a tree made of rolled paper is fantastic! Love the simplicity and the colors you chose. Works well as a strong graphic. Hope you save your artwork or at least take nice photos of each of them. Years later you will appreciate these wonderful assignments and how you solved each problem. Keep up the good work! Linda

Wow Mackenzie! What a creative piece of artwork, and so intricate and detailed. Way to go! I like how you worked the fish tail, pizza, and fowl around your very fruity face! It's a lot of fun to look at. Keep creating wonderful original art, and I hope you are enjoying making your art, too! Love Auntie Robin
