Great job, Jake. It reminds me of my trips to Alaska and Norway/Russia above the arctic circle, but I have not been to Antartica where many penguins live. I see your esperience with silly putty has benefitted you. The colors are soothing and typical of the frigid zones. Love, Grandpa

Wow Jake, what a prize this piece is!! I loved the great technique that was needed to accomplish the final art work. The web is quite uniform and suggestive of "Charlotte's Web" and the colors of the spider are interesting in that you were able to develop the secondary colors from the primary and end up with such a striking spider with creepy legs! I shall be seeing you this afternoon and will talk with you in person about this very nice, colorful and pleasing work of art. Love, Grandpa Tony

Jake, I am so happy to see a second work of art so soon. This one is colorful and active in the sense that there are several pumpkins living next to each other in the patch and looking forward to being picked by a nice boy like you, to make a jackolantern and maybe a pie too. " "Jackolantern you were once anm orange pumpkin sitting on a sturdy vine, now you are a jackolantern shining out at the night." You know how much I love you, Grandpa Tony

Jake, I am very happy and proud to see your first art work on ARTSONIA. When we were in Newark for Hailey's award, I met your teacher and realized that you had the same art teacher as your sister. You were very interested then and I can now see why. Your "Seeing Lines" is very good--colorful and with a variety of lines in various combinations and formations which are a pleasure to the eye. Keep up the good work. I am thinking of you and all your family these few days in Stone Harbor, where we have so many good memories as a family. Wish you were here too. Love, Grandpa Tony
