I think your creativity is showing in this cacti art you have done. It reminds me of the state of Arizona. The colors of the sky you have used are so beautiful. The terracotta pot holding your cacti is the designs they use out there. Then we have the cacti. They look very detailed and just like the real ones. Overall, this is an excellent use of the subject you used and the colors you used. Bravo!

Dan, This cactus planter is really nice. Looks like it is sitting out in the desert in the sun. I always wanted a cactus that would flower like the ones you drew in this picture. Very creative pot as well with the Aztec design and hot sunny colors. I realize you have years of experience growing cactus, judging from the size of the one you have at home.

Hi, Dan, I see you are using a main color close to being fluorescent. Color is so important in a lot of life. For instance, think of the colors of the license plates different states use, or the colors I use in quilts. You choose clothing sometimes based on color. Look around you and observe all the colors.

Hello, Dan, Your color choices work well together. I have always had an interest in learning to weave but didn't know where to begin. Congratulations for taking the plunge and designing a masterpiece. With love and admiration, Grandma and Grandpa

Hello, Daniel! Or should I say, "Hello, Purple and Pink Man?" These must be your school colors. When I attended school in St. Louis our colors were royal blue and gold. Your cousins are red and white. Does this majestic purple hand shoot basketballs? Your shapes and shades are very nice. We love getting these pics.

Hi, Dan! Your art reminds me of elephants in India because they paint and decorate their elephants. If I had an elephant I would want you to paint and decorate her. I also like the framing around your art. We love you and are so proud you are our grandson.

Hey, Dan! It looks like you have been expressing your love for color, again. But I seem to see some things hidden among those nice colors. Are there letters that I see? Or am I dreaming? Do I see a YELLORERNSONSPANIEVS AND AN O? Please let me know if I am right or wrong. Thanks. Love, Grandma

Hi, Once again your love for vivid colors is obvious. The details you use are what gives your art its personality. I have a question about the scarecrow. What has he been eating? Love, Grandpa & Grandma

We love it, Dan! The boldness of the colors splash. I would like to see a fabric company use it for sewing fabric so everyone could enjoy and maybe make swimming trunks or shirts from it. Keep on expressing yourself in art. Love, Grandpa and Grandma

Hi Dan, This is a great snowman you drew. I can tell it is drawn by a boy that loves the snow because the snowman is smiling and he is dressed warm and snug. I especially like the snow that is falling around him. Each piece is different just like real snow. If I was that little red bird I would stop and rest on that nice snowman too. I wonder if he is watching Dan ski down the mountain. Love, Nanna

Dear Dan, It is such a joy for Grandpa and me to receive pictures of your artwork. Your owl and his wings are so realistic and you gave him lots of feathers. We have several owls around our house. They like to eat mice. Snakes are scared when an owl is near. Can you guess why? Lots of love from Grandpa and Grandma
