Hey Maisa, great art, I love it so much. I'm happy to see that you've returned to mix your lovely and happy light colors with dark colors in a creative way. In addition, the lines drawn in a highly elegant way add a special beauty to your lovely art.

I Love Art that is inspired by the cosmos. Did you use pastels? I paint mostly with acrylic but have been experimenting a lot with watercolor. Liquitex Mediums and Pebeo Paints are really cool too. Keep shining.

Maisa, your talent has evolved extraordinarily fast with such a quality art style for your age. I believe this piece of art is a great leap from the basic art stage you were previously focusing on, like drawing nature, to a new, deep, philosophical stage in this amazing work! Your drawing expresses an intense internal anger which caused a strong and deep scream! It’s accurately depicting my feelings these days! You are a great, young artist.

Maisa, your art with its color allows me to feel the warmth and night of downtown. It makes me long to spend the evening walking and breathing the fresh air in the streets, and the lakeshore under the clear sky and shiny moon. Great job! Continue to develop your talent!

Maisa, your creativity with this piece makes me happy and took me back to a psychology class that i loved. The professor asked us to look at an important piece of art and tell him what we saw, and the students all had different explanations! Your art has that same value of comparison! Do you believe that what I see in yours is 3 people standing back to back, and supporting each other to create a solid group. Wonderful work!

Maisa, I like your trees. They look like pine trees on a hill, but there aren't many hills in Chicago. Where did you see these trees? I haven't visited your artsonia page in a LONG time, although of course I've seen a lot of your work in person. I look forward to seeing more. It's beautiful.

Hi Maisa, I have not visited this website in a while. Wowowowowowow! I am really loving your artwork. It is very fun right?? Anything goes! I think it is nice that you have something that is so open. In math and gymnastics and dance there are many specific things to learn. In your art you can relax and create. Do you have anything framed in your room? When you frame something it makes a big difference in making it look special. Where do you have the vase painting? OK, see you soon and write me back if you can. Your buddy, Stephanie.

Posted 14 years ago
Maisa, I like your creativity and development of the original Hanthalla. Do you know the original Hanthalla is not a fat, happy, relaxed, or pampered child? He is barefoot like the refugee camp children. His hands are clasped behind his back as a sign of rejection of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Yours is a healthy child, wearing warm clothes and shoes, deciding to move forward, pointing and walking steadily towards Palestine.
-- Rasmea
Posted 14 years ago
Maisa, I'm in love with this drawing. It should be framed!
-- Vivi
Posted 14 years ago
I love the way the hairstyle looks. I think I will make plans to come over and make art again. Hooray for you to make so many drawings.
-- Stephanie
Posted 14 years ago
Hi Maisa! It will be a very happy day when Hanthalla turns around and Palestine is free.
-- Sarah
Posted 14 years ago
Maisa! Stephanie will love seeing this Hanthalla. Will the boy ever turn around? Will we ever see what his face is like?
-- Joe
Posted 14 years ago
Hanthalla loves to write and draw, like you do. And one of these days, Hanthalla will turn around and show you his face--when we are all back in a free Palestine!

I think dinosaurs are really cool, but I'm glad there aren't any in Chicago!
-- Joe
Posted 14 years ago
What a great meeting between creatures of the Late Jurassic and Late Cretaceous time periods! Stegosaurus and Pteranodon are two of Higan's favorites! I'm a big fan of the Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and Ankylosaurus. I sure hope that the volcano doesn't erupt... Maisa, do you know that Pteranodons weren't really dinosaurs at all? They were actually flying reptiles that lived alongside the dinosaurs. They are cousins to the reptiles we see today like snakes, alligators and lizards. Believe it or not dinosaurs are directly related to birds such as eagles, owls and even tiny hummingbirds!
-- Eric
Posted 14 years ago
I love your picture of the dinosaurs. Are dinosaurs one of your favorite animals?
