Hi Allie, Your jungle painting is so beautiful. It shows a lot of imagination. It reminds me of the greens and plants on the sides of the lagoons outside of our rooms in Mexico. I especially like the way you painted the leaves of the plants in many different tones of green and yellow. The red color you chose peeking out in spots is a surprise in the painting Do I see a beautiful bird hiding in the trees? I love you. -- Phyllisee

Hi Allie, I just saw your self portrait. Did you learn about the famous artist Andy Warhol in school? Your portrait looks just like some of the ones that he did. Hi Allie, I love your new drawing that showed so much imagination just like Miro. Even using just primary colors and black and white you were able to make a beautiful work of art. I love the way you used lines in the picture to divide the spaces. Do you remember when we looked at a lithograph in my house by Miro and tried to use our imagination to find shapes in his picture? Dear Allie, I love your new picture of the sad clown. The mouth, eyes and tears all make the clown look so sad. It is very creative the way you choose green for hair and I like the way you colored it.
