Certainly looks like a Scraggy Tree at Sunset. The colors in the background are beautiful, serene and almost make me look past the scraggy, ugly tree. Perhaps its a reminder of hope- that sunset ends the day and gives us confidence that a new day is soon to begin. I wonder what the scraggy tree will look like at sunrise? At least we'll be able to clean up and perhaps salvage it or even take it down if its dead so we don't have to look at it. -- Scott

Interesting. Starry night true- but what stands out in the sky are winds; winds of change perhaps. First of all the peaceful little town is raised up from the land that the monster is standing on. Does this mean the monster comes from an unexpected place, maybe beneath their very foundation? or does it mean they are trying to think ahead and have built in a little protection? Although the monster seems to be looking at the sky with his mouth open in wonderment...maybe the winds of change are going to affect him and not the town. -- Scott

My first thought about this how it reminds me of you. I see a fragile (freezing tree limbs with no fruit), but yet determination, strength, long-suffering. Determined in that it does what it needs to for survival and doesn't give up; strength in that it is supported by its trunk and roots;, long-suffering or patience in that it knows this season will pass and it will be productive once again and provide what it usually does. -- Scott
