We actually finished the "color mixing" lesson, which is what this one is. What we usually do is turn this into a quilt-like item, and then add "you" as a self-portrait in PJs. I'm disappointed that we ran out of time! You did a good job on mixing your colors and painting the blocks.

WOW! I was absolutely blown away by your latest picture! I love it. It certainly looks like birch trees in winter. The sky looks very cold and you even have the shadows of the trees, that gives the picture real depth, along with the fence in the background. A real work of art.

I saw a cardinal that looked EXACTLY like this when we were @ Nana and Pop's house for Thanksgiving. Only difference is that it was sitting on a holly tree and there was no snow... but the colors on the bird were identical. Very impressive.
