I bet you enjoyed doing this because you are a robot expert! I like the simple design and unusual colors. Grandma

Textiles are much more difficult to work with than they look. I like the colors you chose. Grandma

Nathan, You really must have mom frame this picture! I love it......the colors, the broken lines, the heart slightley off-set, the whole thing just has such eye appeal. Grandma

You did a really good job on this because there is nothing more difficult than a self portrait! You have the brown eyes , dark hair and smile right. I'm not understanding what is on your head so you will have to talk to me about this when I see you next. Grandma

Nathan, I like your outer space picture. Your rocket is very authentic looking. You have all the parts there. You have learned detail from working with legos so much.

Hi Nathan, This is an excellent painting. You have captured the very simple still life done in earth tones. You must have been listening carefully to what your teacher told you about this artist. Grandma

I see this figure as someone running for the goal line. Am I right? Not sure why he is orange because you and I both know he should be green and gold! love you, Grandma

Hi Nathan, I'm not familiar with this artist so you will have to tell me about him. I love the colors you chose for your line portrait.....wacky hair! His eyes almost appear to be looking in different directions. Keep those pictures coming! Grandma

Nathan, Did you enjoy origami? I remember doing alot of it when I was in grade school. I hope you can remember how you did these. Maybe some day this summer we can do some together. Grandma

I like this one, Nathan. It almost looks like an astronaut lying down waiting for "take-off". Grandma

What a colorful fish you made! I think you would have to be in the tropics to see a fish like that. I know we will not see one that pretty in the Northwoods. Grandma

I remember making pinch pots in school. Your's reminds me of a turtle. What do you have IN the pot? Looks like lemon pudding but I'm sure that's not it. Grandma

Nathan, honey, you are much more attractive than this picture. Most of all, that wonderful smile of yours is missing. Self portraits are very difficult to do. You got the proportions right. Did you get to look in a mirror to do this? Grandma

You are really improving in your drawing, Nathan. I remember doing "rubbings" when I was in school and thought they were fun.

Nathan, I like that you did not make your pumpkins round. These are much more interesting and really stand out against the dark colored sky.

Hi Nathan, I like your "marigold" and the bright colors you used because a marigold is one of the brightest flowers for summer and fall. It looks like you used watercolors. Those are difficult to work with. Keep up the good work! Love you, Grandma
