Garrett,
Beautiful work! You are a thoughtful artist. I like how you noticed your artwork was missing some elements. The framed artwork and window in the background added missing shapes, colors and textures you needed. Great job planning and adding those finishing touches!

Hi Garrett - If your shield is as strong as the beautiful colors, it should protect its user. Great colors and it's very unique. As always, we love your art. Keep sending it. Love you, Grandma Karen & Papa Bob

Hey Garrett - It looks like you've created a new "Star War's" character. If he comes to earth, we hope he's friendly because we wouldn't want to go to battle against him! Great Job! Grandma Karen & Papa Bob

Hi Garrett - Your snowman triptych is fantastic! The snowman looks like he's glowing in the glittering snow. I can almost feel the snow flakes. Maybe we'll be able to build a snowman when you come to Minneapolis for Christmas next year. Keep working on your art. Grandma Karen

Hello, Garrett! I absolutely love this snowman trio! Each one of the individual pictures is cool but when you put them together they are awesome because each one is from a different distance. I think the best part is that the first two aren't centered on the page ... that makes them even more interesting and very artistic! I'm impressed! Love you, Nana

Hi Garrett - This looks like a really big, really scaly fish with a very long pointed nose and piercing eyes like we would have seen in prehistoric days. How much do you think this fish weighs? This fish would certainly frighten someone. We love your wonderful art. Keep sending it. Love you. Papa Bob & Grandma Karen

Hey Garrett: I LOVE this fish! It looks kind of prehistoric...and like it would be hard to see in the water because of its color. It's probably a predator fish, right? Great job! Your picture made me think about what this fish would be like if it was real. Love, Nana

Garrett, this is really cool because I just emptied my trash can downstairs by my craft area this morning and the pieces of paper in there looked a lot like the ones you used in this piece. I should have saved them and tried to make something cool like you did. Maybe next time. Love Nana

This is going to be a short message because we are too scared to write anything about this scary MONSTER!!! Leave him in Iowa --- we don't need him in Minnesota scaring little children and old granparents! Love Nana and Papa

Are these fish like some of the big ones you and Papa caught up on Leech Lake a couple of years ago? They are kind of the same shape as the sunfish you guys were catching. Love the colors too. Love Nana

Hey, Garrett! Papa and I just found your artwork web site and we love your work. It looks like you used watercolor paint on this one. Is that correct? I also know that if you were a flying policeman in your dream that you were fighting the bad guys in a very super hero kind of way! Love you, Nana and Papa
