Wowee, Ruby, I'd like to see that in real life! You have such a great imagination (as well as artistic talent--what a winning combination! hmmm, as I was writing that sentence, I saw the potential for a little poem, as in I'm a poet, and didn't know it!

This is a very magical snowman! I think its face is a bit jack-o-lanternish (spooky), which is unusual for snowpeople (unique is great for an artist, by the way). Your Mom is right about your remarkable shading technique, very impressive. I love the picture w/in the picture also.

I'm so glad you are posting art online once again, Ruby. This painting makes me happy--to be connected with a really cool kid (you) [even though I haven't seen you since you were a baby!], and to live out in the desert near Tucson where the sky is just like this! I just bought myself some paints and brushes to play with, and YOU are an inspiration to me.

Ruby, this artwork you did is beautiful! Just like the Tucson starry nights. You are getting better all the time. Love you, Judy

No its not a tall mountain its a road.its between dog ville and cat ville.
-- Ruby
- on November 2, 2012
Hi, Ruby! When I saw your picture as a tiny icon I thought you had drawn an extremely tall mountain! But then I clicked on it and saw more details (not enough--I'd like to see the full-sized drawing!). Dog Ville and Cat Ville with a chasm (deep canyon) between? I'd love to see a comment from you about this one! Please keep on exploring your art. I know you're going places with it!
