Taylor's Steampunk Seahorse can now be seen in our wall mural just inside the front door at West Central School.

Taylor really enjoys the socialization of the art class and any extra attention that receives during the art making process. She laughs easily at her classmates antics and makes choices with a big grin. It is so nice to have such a happy artist join my class each week.

Although she had assistance on this project, she picked ladybugs and chose the colors to use in the background. She had fun interacting with the others during this project and thought everyone was funny!

Taylor went with all hearts and one monkey for this one. The colors were so sharply contrasting that she had no trouble seeing exactly what the shapes were.

Taylor listened with a focused look on her face as I explained Kandinsky's art and how the abstract art movement was started. She chose color and placement on this project, and the bright colors made her smile.

This was one of the bigger leaves Taylor made. She really liked the color -- purple is one of her favorites -- and the blending of colors was fun to watch!

Taylor had fun making these: watching the colors run to form other colors, cutting leaf shapes and making them look like 'real' leaves, and the interaction with the other students during the project. She was smiling the whole time!

Taylor chose ladbugs by facial expression. She then chose which colors to have her assistant use: green first, and then purple.
