I love this piece on the Ferris Brick Festival! Isn't Mr. Hunter just awesome? I'm an FHS grad, class of '69, and Mr. Hunter and I used to teach at the same school. Keep up the good work.

Anna, this is beautiful! You have such insight into what makes your home sweet. Clearly, it's not just "sweets" like food, but "sweets" like your surroundings, the smells of home, the dynamics of home life. It's a wonderful depiction.

I also liked working with charcoal while in art class. I found it a good medium especially when it came to shadowing, and I usually used my fingers to do so. This is a great piece!!
