Hi, Jack, Your cardinals are very pretty. It looks like they might be cold on a snowy day. Are those bird feeders on their perch on a power line? We have some cardinals here also that have come south for the winter -- only we have had some pretty cold weather, too. Stay warm! Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Brrrr..... This snowman looks cold -- You have done a great job of making the snow and snowman look real. And the blue-gray background sky looks very wintery. Also like the shading on the snow man. Keep up the good work, Grandma and Grandpa

Jack, Nice combination of shapes and colors. What kind of paint or color pens did you use to draw the snowman? He sure looks happy -- we like his big smile. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Hello, Jack, We just finished wrapping some Christmas packages with red and green tissue paper, but you have found a more beautiful use for the paper. What a great idea for a colorful Christmas picture. Your art work gets better all the time. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Hi, Jack, We like your cherry trees. When we were in Washington, DC last Spring, we saw hundreds of cherry trees blooming in Arlington National Cemetery. They were nearly finished blooming, but millions of flower petals were on the ground, making it very pretty. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Jack, Interesting tree! Buttons make interesting tree decorations ... and the star on top is a good reminder of the Star of Bethlehem. Hope you are enjoying this Christmas season. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Hi, Jack, Wow! That guy really is a wild thing. What did you use to make the picture? Water colors or some other kind of paint? Do you think there one these creatures hiding in the woods near our house in Florida? What does he eat? Does he like people? Keep up the great work. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Hi, Jack, This is a great picture of a fruit tree. It is just like some apple trees we saw in north Georgia last month. (Flat Cat was with us). We actually picked a bag of apples off the trees to take home, and they were delici-oh-so!

Jack, What fun to make a picture out of leaves. How did you make the leaf prints? The background colors are very pretty and look like the leaves might be blowing in the wind. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Jack, Your abstract picture is full of happy colors, and fun to look at. We like the way you put the shapes and colors together to make your picture. The "eyes" really got our attention! They look like they are looking right at us. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Jack, This picture really looks like a castle of long ago -- and the colors are very pretty. Did you use pastels (like chalk) to draw it with -- or paints? You did a great job. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Jack, What a great job of weaving a pretty design. The background design is a good way to pull the squares together. (We will forgive you for using the University of Florida team colors, since we are for Florida State.) Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Hi, Jack, Wow -- this is a very colorful picture. It must have taken a long time to glue all the circles and squares into a beautiful design. You did a great job of making a design out of the combination of shapes and colors. Love, Grandma and Grandpa
