I LOVE this picture, too, Kristen. The contrast of the rounded plant witht he pointed teeth are really well drawn. I think this picture reminds me of the "Little Shop of Horror" story. I enjoyed the dark humor of the story which this picture also shows well.

I have 2 favorites. This reminds me of my childhood and all the fun I had imagining I was small. I read many stories to my preschool students. This picture would be fantastic in any of the books. Ever think of doing this as a job some day? You are really good.

Your work makes me think of many small dots. One of my favorite quotes is: “Some say they see poetry in my paintings; I see only science.”

I am glad that we have the opportunity to see all the Tremper students artwork in one place. I have started to put the art in categories; projects and sketchbook assignments. Please visit the artsonia Tremper site and look at all the work and try to find some other students work to comment on. If you are not sure on what to say try to think of something you comment on when you do a critique. All this activity you do (Leaving comments and joining fan clubs will increase our state rating. Right now we are 22nd in the state with just artwork and 53rd overall with commits and fan clubs. May be by the time we get back to school we could be close to the top ten. Thank you, Mr. Schroeder

This is one of my favorites. I like the way the ear bud cords dangle loosely from your hand, I like the highlights and shading on your fingernails, and I like the way the wrist and arm recede back and kind of fade out. . . . .and I like the angle of your hand. It's one of my favorites!
