Annabelle, Uncle B and I just ordered a copy of this as a refrigerator magnet and guess what! It arrived this weekend! We love it. This happens to be one of my favorite pieces of art that you've done. I think it's because you were able to capture two different qualities: a frightful set of teeth that shows she has a wild, fierce side yet she is wearing bright happy colors with a friendly face. Hi Annabelle, I really liked what you drew and colored of the famous French Impressionist painter's house in Giverny, France. Monet loved color and his house, which I have visited, is full of color. It is, indeed, a pinkish color on the outside. His kitchen is a warm wonderful yellow. His gardens are full of colorful flowers and he loved to paint the waterlilies that grew in his pond with a bridge near the gardens. You have given balance to your picture, with everything positioned symmetrically. Design by the French is often done with such balance. You have the path dividing the lawn equally, and you have the trees, one on either side, to give balance. I am pleased to see the progress you are making. Much love, Memé -- Gay
