Grace, I love your abstract turtle. It looks like like it is done as a piece of stained glass. I also think it is quite timely as the turtles of South Louisiana are among the first animal species to to be affected by the oil slick in the gulf. Your artwork reminds me that the anilmals themselves are works of art and need to be protected. -- G' Pa

Dear Grace, We are currently in Vernet-les-Bains, France, enjoying scenic mountain walks, delicious French pastries, and Aunt Nelle who is visiting us for a week! We have shared lots of long conversations; Aunt Nelle is always eager to hear about her nieces and nephews. Today I showed her the many art projects you and Ben have posted on the Artsonia website and she was very impressed. We are hoping to order some note cards to arrive prior to Aunt Nelle's trip to Africa; she hopes to take them with her when she leaves in May. Can't wait to see you when we get home from France.
