Addy... Love your new painting! Matisse is French! (I am sure you know that). He grew up in Northeast France near the border of Holland. His home is probably a 6 hour drive f rom Alexis' home in Lyon, France. I love his Open Window picture! He drew it over 100 years ago! Did you know that his great granddaughter lives in the United States? Her name is Sophie and she is about 50 yrs old. It looks like we need to take a trip to Colorado so you can see some real mountains! Great job... Grandma with dogs...
