Taytem, This is another interesting art work. The use of color 'intensity' gives depth and dimension to the picture. The overall effect of 'haze' is unusual. Even the sun appears to be struggling to burn through the morning haze. This reminds me of foggy mornings. The addition of the structures atop the rolling hills in the background, along with the darker blue bottom hill, gives depth and dimension to the picture. Every art work should express a 'feeling' and 'imagination'. I wonder what you were thinking when you created this. Keep up the good work. You have artistic ability within you; however, you must pursue all aspects of art to become a true artist. Take-away a little something from everything you see. Let your mind work its magic. Mistakes can always be corrected. Love you. Grandpa

Taytem, This is very interesting. If you look closely, the bowl (right) and the item on the left (?) appear to be made of a clear substance. If you focus on the bowl (right), you could be looking UP from the bottom or looking DOWN from the top-side. The same with the item on the left. The transparency of both items gives an optical illusion effect as your mind tries to decide which view might be correct. The illusion of both perspectives confirms that both objects have a transparent effect (clear). Look at both objects separately, then let your mind question as to whether you are viewing both objects from different perspectives (over-view or from the bottom). This is a good exercise in creating a dimensional illusion drawing. Good work. You should practice this imagery with other objects both round and square. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you. Love you. Grandpa

Taytem, I think this is really good. I like the linear perspective from left to right. You seem to have captured the correct 'size' perspective from the larger trees in the foreground to the trees in the rear. The effect gives both depth and dimension overall. Nice work. Getting this aspect of art correctly is sometimes difficult; however, you seem to have a grasp of it. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of your efforts in art. You are on your way to becoming an artist, among other things also. Love you. Grandpa

Taytem, I think this drawing and choice of colors has an interesting balance. I also like the red fire flashing from the dragon's mouth. The border is interesting. It gives artwork the appearance of a 'greeting card'. Along with your other art work, I think you are developing into an artist. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you. Love you. Grandpa

Taytem's imagination and overall use of color in her artwork suggests she has an ability to articulate contrasting colors that are quite striking. -- Tom
