For this assignment we were to reconstruct a chair.. I took this a whole different direction because I couldn't find a chair with the shape that I wanted. I am very happy with the way this turned out and how you can actually sit on it! If I were to do this over, I would of had a better drawing of it in the beginning and better plans so that I wouldn't have gotten stuck in certain spots.

This was a project that I had just thought of to work on right before christmas break. I am pretty happy with the way things turned out. I wish that I would have let the paint dry a little more on the frame, because it did smudge a bit, and I wish I could have gotten the outline closer to masons picture, but you can't control how crayon breaks. If I were to redo it, I would spend a little extra time on it.

This piece was probably one pf my favorites to work on. Only because I had a lot of motivation while working on it. I am very happy with the way this turned out and I would definitely do more like it. If I were to do things differently, I would start out with using the Prisma colored pencils, not Crayola. I would also change the surface that I was working on because it stretched the paper a lot.

This piece took me forever to work on. I would work on it a little bit, than not like the way it looked so i would just change everything completely. I am pretty happy with the way this turned out. If I were to do it all over again, I would do more research and find out how exactly I wanted it in the first place.

What inspired me to do this piece was a couple things. I wanted to find a way to use up some of the extra wood from my chair that I had made, and another student had done a nail and string art. If I were to change some things I would use more nails to make it easier to fill the space, instead of just outlining. Overall though I am pretty pleased with the way this turned out.

You did a very good job making the picture look 3D! It looks very realistic and your values look very well! You overall did a great job!

I think that overall this is a fantastic piece. My favorite part of the piece is the nose. To me it looks so real and the values are great. I think that you really nailed all the values 1-10. I also like the shading around the eyes. This affect makes the eyes look almost 3-D. Great job!!

Great job Alyssa! I love the entire piece but I especially like the way you lightened the iris on the side opposite the highlight. This is important to create the appearance of light passing through the cornea which is transparent. Also, I agree with you that the nose almost looks three-dimensional. Keep up the great work!
