Love it. Those green eyes. The close-up view. Terrific.

You definitely got something of yourself in this drawing. And that's hard to do. (And it's a very nice drawing. I hope you keep it up, outside of class, too.)

Interesting as usual. A bit (small bit) like Van Gogh's bedroom. A little claustrophobic, which seems right for the piece.
-- Jane
Posted 14 years ago
Interesting view of yourself. I do see some resemblance.
-- Jane

Interesting. The blue at the bottom suggests swimming, the position, which I love, suggests gymnastics or a sideways H. and what are the objects in the background?
-- Jane
Posted 14 years ago
Well, that's interesting. Where were you? I hope you keep doing art during the summer--you're very good at it.
-- Jane

I hadn't seen this one. Quite lovely. Who was the influence, I wonder. Dufy?
-- Jane

Interesting patterns and lovely colors. Here it looks clear; on my first image of it, it was blurry. I'm curious about how you made it--folding color paper first or from scratch on the computer?

Sweet. I like the angle.

I never know what to expect when I open these up. This is another terrific one. Vibrant color, good composition, joyful--wonderful altogether.
-- Jane

Another good one. What does Scherenschnitte (can't see the word while I'm typing this) mean? Not quite a Matisse cut-out, but very nice indeed.
-- Jane

Very nice, as usual. I don't understand the title--perhaps it will come in the statement. I particularly love the trees in the right corner.

Lovely. Where is this house? Hope it's near you. I want to move in. Granma Joan

A very handsome picture, as always. I love the spaces created by the lines, or do I mean the sense of space? I'd love to see a rabbit and a red fox, myself.

A highly insightful and complex work in which George Washington is clearly depicted as being haunted by how badly he treated England. We are looking forward to additional works by this brilliant artiste!
