Lovely Kenna,...My-o-my.You certainly have become quite the artist. I first said that you had matured but it was pointed out to me that "mature" could mean old and crotchety, (like some folks I know). Then I was gonna say that you were a good drawer, then it was pointed out to me that a drawer was what you put your clothes in, in the dresser,or possibly something you stepped into when getting dressed.Well now I couldn't possibly say that now could I? Your picture would make a pretty stained glass window. My neighbor sed "it looks gooder n fried possum, and thats real gud.

Dearest Kenna; Just in time for Easter! Truly, that's what I thought....being the great thinker I am. So then I researched it and found out that "BORBZ" is the name for a border of squished orbs. So I guess I am correct in that you composed a picture of a pair of tubes of Easter Eggs. My reasoning was that eggs are orbital in shape, and Easter Eggs are all dressed up in their pretty Easter finery. Furthermore, no matter what they are called, I call them pretty!

Kenna dear,... That has got to be the the prettiest blue dog that I have ever seen. Did you draw her sitting in her dog house? The reason I asked is, there is a chest of drawers next to her right side. And what is that up by her left ear? Is thet a gumball machine ? Or a candy dispenser? I can tell, you've got her all set up nicely, with carpets and rugs on the floor, and pretties on the wall. I can tell that she's a lucky dog. You'll have to tell me what her name is someday. Keep up your good work, I can't wait for the next one.

Well goodness, gracious, sakes alive! It's about time I got to see one of your artistic endeavors. It has been awhile. Did you know that the tree you drew, looks like the silhouette of a girl I once knew . Her name was Lulu. She really was a lulu too. She took ballet dance lessons. The reason I remembered her when I saw your art is that background of your picture has the spots that are like peacock feathers. which is the same kind of corors as her tutu, which is a little skirt that ballerinas wear. Well any way you have made a pretty work of art and I will anxiously wait for the next one your aunt Donna said that you dun reel gud!

Kenna dear,... This very unusual using a ceckerboard-heart for a valentine. It's a great idea but how're you ever going to play checkers on it? While I am here, i am going to comment on the valentine heart you made before this one. once upon a time, a long time ago..... Last year I think I had bought your Aunt Donna a heart shaped box of chocolate covered cherries for valentines day. As I was already at the store, I shopped for a few things that were needed at home . Such as 2 gallons of milk, some canned items, Pineapple, or grapefruit juice I think. Well maam, I wanted to surprise Aunt Donna with the chocolate covered cherries(she sure likes those cherries.... do you?? .. I do too) I sorta got distracted thinking about how good those cherries taste, any way back to the story. I had put those cherries in the bag first because i was going to take the bag and hide the cherries untill Valentine day to surprise her. Wel I gouss all that milk and all that juice was a little too heavy fo

Kernna, dear young lady... Such beauty! How in the world do you do it?? A snowflake? yes indeed. and a very very beautiful one at that. I would even call it a flower, in fact, a Fleur-de-lys. which means 'flower of the lilly'. If one looks at it for awhile, a person is able to make out different things, for instance, I am able to see a beautiful butterfly. Breath taking.

Kenna, You are a very prolific artist. Of course you knew that didn't you? The last art that I knew you had produced was the "nutcracker". Now I find, you have produced three more works of art. Those trees were certainly unusual, and the poinsettias, were equally unusual and beautiful. Now then we have this snowman from a worms eye view. It certainly makes for a different perspective, looking at a snowman from the ground up. It also makes for a very, very cold worm. That is of course, unless the worm was wearing its fur-coat. I'll bet that you've never seen a worm dressed in fur. The reason we do not see many worms in fur is because they are not very good to be used for fishing. I know you know all about fishing from experience. We don't use furry worms while fishing is because they don't wriggle. worms in fur are warm, and they don't shiver which causes them to wriggle to get the fishes attention. Thats why you've never put a furry worm on a fish hook. You can ask your cousin Hun

Kenna,... Such a realistic "Hoot-owl" sitting on your patio. Well, thatis what I first thought when I looked at your art. But someone else said "thats not a hoot-owl, it is a vase and a planter made of ceramic. Well then I read what it is a drawing of and discovered that I had been wrong. Many times, people get the wrong first impression of what something appears to be but after thinking about it, must change their mind. Being able to change ones mind if at first they are wrong is a good thing. I want you to know that I really enjoy seeing your art. We can see you grow as we look at your work. You may not understand that right now, but you will. Tom

Kenna, Listen here girl,... this is one futuristic looking robot. I'm not very futuristic, so I didnot understand why a robot would have a flower in its hair. Then I thought aboutr it and decided that it was not flowers at all, but rather some propellers. having propellers is a good idea because they could charge the battery that was needed to run the robot. By the way, did I tell you that I think it is a very attractive robot? Well it is. I certainly enjoy looking at your art work and I hope you enjoy me writing to you about them. Tom

Dear kenna,... Good grief, are you in the third grade already? My, my you certainly didn't stay little very long. That is evidenced in your art. That is a very very realistic appearing Nutcracker. If I were a rodent, I would be very afraid of him. I hope you keep on drawing great looking pictures for all of us to enjoy.

Kenna,.. . When I first saw this bird, I did not know it was a bird. I thought it was a ceiling light or perhaps a drawing of a lampshade . Then I thought "that's a real feather" "goodness, that must be a Vase.I was wrong. You see, the problem is, I think a lot before I read about what things really are. When I read that it was an actual ceramic bird I realizid right away that I had been wrong. I want you to know, It is a beautiful ceramic bird. I was unaware that you had graduated to ceramics in your art work. Very nice indeed.

Dear, Dear, Kenna, I know exactly what the princess went through,...Well maybe not exactly. You see I'm not a princess. I'm also not a prince. Although some will say I am a prince of a fellow. The reason I say that I know what the princess went through is that my problem is the sams,...but different. You see, even though I am a prince of a fellow, I am not a prince. I am not even a fellow, I am a FROG, waiting for a kiss from a princess. If that happens I will turn into a prince. Now then, I said that I knew what the princess went through about not getting any sleep because of the pea under her back in the bed. My problem is that as a frog, I have to sleep under a rock. Can you imagine how uncomfortable it is under a rock? It makes my head get all squsahed out of shape. That may be why I have not been kissed by a princess. Woe is me, Woe is me. Tsk, Tsk

I would name this collage "the flowers and trees and birds and bees" because they are all parts of your art . a person might say "I do not see all of those parts in the collage" Yet I know that they are all there except for the bee... you see, the bee took up all of the nectar from the flowers and since there was none left, he also left. He will be back as soon as he has put his nectar in the hive. We must all look for him to return when there is more nectar for him to collect. I know that I will.

That is a really, truly , pretty butterfly. Did you know that some people call them "FLUTTER-BY's" I don't know why, maybe because they flutter as they fly by you. Do ya think?

Kenna, That is one sweet duck. I especially like that you gave it a raincap with a sunflower on for all of your Kansas friends. Then to make sure it did not get too wet, you loaned it your own personal umbrella. That was very sweet. You're becoming quite the artist, keep up the good work.

Kenna,it is a sad day when a person dosen't learn at least one thing. Here it is, almost nine o'clock in the evening, and I was getting pretty worried about not having learned a single thing today. Then, you came to the rescue and I saw your picture of the rainbow in the colors proper order. Goodness, I didn't know that there was a proper order for the colors of a rainbow but now I do. You saved the day, I learned something today, thanks.

Kenna, Gracious girl, you're getting better all the time. I truly love to see Cardinal birds. they are so very pretty. Cardinals are especially pretty when they are sitting on the branch of a tree that is covered in snow. We used to decorate the christmas tree with cardinals they were pretty in that setting also. Keep up the good work, you bring us joy. Love Tom

Kenna, I am just amazed at how well you do in art. I hope you continue to be able to express yourself with art. It is strange, that when I saw this picture of the hands, I thought to myself "this picture is so cool (good), that it's hot (good). I like your use of the colors the warmer and cooler areas of the picture. I think you do very, very well. I'm sure that you enjoy art. Keep sending us pictures.

Kenna, It's a very rare bird that you've shown us today. I think it is called a "WUZZAT" bird because of the call it makes. When it hears a noise in the forest, the bird calls out WUZZAT,WUZZAT. It has a very close relative known as the "HOOZZAT" bird. Its call is of course upon hearing a strange noise in the forest it calls out "HOOZZAT, HOOZZAT". As I said, they are very, very rare birds. Perhaps your Grandpa Marvin will take you hunting them on a very dark black night. You must have a flashlight and a gunny sack and a lot of patience. how you hunt them, is you go into the woods on a dark, black night and you put the light into the sack while holding it open. then one of you go off and make noise in the woods. When the WUZZAT and the HOOZZAT birds call out 'WUZZAT and HOOZZAT, you then Answer 'smee, and hold the bag wide open and the "WUZZAT and HOOZZAT birds will run into the safety of the bag. This is a true story just ask your Grandpa, he'll tell you.

Dear Kenna; What a pretty "rockfish" When I was at your Grandpa's lake, I did not find a pretty "rockfish" like the one you drew. Then I thought, that your "rockfish" came from "Rockville" Missouri, where your Great-Great Uncle Clyde went to school. Do you think that could be? Do they have "rockfish" in Rockville? I think they may. Tom

Hi Kenna, You did a really good job with your Mallard Duck. I like to read the instructions that you follow for each of your artwork displays. I look at all of them again everytime you complete a new artwork. I saw 10 baby mallard ducks behind our house a couple of times in the past two weeks and they are growing fast.
