Hailey this art work is amazing. You are a very talented and creative artist. This is one of my favorites! I use to make stain glass art myself. I think if I get back into it I may ask you if I could borrow your design and use it as a templet for a stain glass piece because the design would be perfect for that. Keep up the good work. I am so proud of you!

Dear Hailey, As usual, I like your artwork. This robot, in the detail you included and the combination of colors and shading is quite impressive and convincing. It looks quite capable and efficient as a robot should and I can imagine it working the floors of my hospital where the current robots who work there are much more mundane and non-anthropological. Love, Grandpa Zangara

Hi Hailey, today I had some time here at the shore with slightly off-weather to explore the internet more and I pulled up the whole portfolio of your artwork on Artsonia. I must say I was greatly rewarded to see again and remember all the great pieces of art you have exhibited. About a week ago, there was a ten year old girl exhibiting her art work at Ocean Galleries on 3rd Ave. and I got to talk with her for a while. I told her about you and your work on Artsonia and she knew the site and took your code name to look at yours too. Looking forward to seeing you and the family this coming weekend at Stone Harbor. Love, Grandpa Tony

Dear Hailey, I haven't seen you in a long time and I'm sure you are now a beautiful young lady. I enjoy seeing your art work and I'm glad you are continuing your lessons. This portrait is well done because your were able to create through shadowing and different gradation of the same color an interesting work of art. The girl seems to be in deep thought and I wonder what she is thinking. Congratulations on earning an award that you well deserved. Love and hugs, Josephine

Hi Hailey, this new art was published while I was still at the shore after you and your family had left me and so I did not see it until today. It is most interesting with the impressive monochromatic technique and the critical shading and I shall want to discuss it with you personally, perhaps over lunch today after your show and award at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, OK? Hi Hailey. This beautiful young lady is lovely in her purple dress with our flag and stars. She correctly has her right hand over her heart while saying the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. You've captured this patriotic moment on a sunny day in Washington D.C. with feeling and maturity. Hailey, you deserve a BIG GOLD STAR and a big hug. Love, Josephine

Hello, Hailey, I reviewed all 21 of your art pieces on this site and enjoyed them all again. The one titled "Line Painting" and the "Seeing Lines" both involve lines as a foundational concept and I am wondering which of the two was selected for the juried art show. Love, Grandpa, 7 June, 2011

Hi Hailey, as I told you yesterday, I love your last art work and commented on it before but have not seen my entry. Love, Grandpa
-- Anthony
- on May 16, 2011
Hailey, this is a very nice piece of art and I can see Chagall in the piece. The purplish background is most appropriate for sleep and a dreamlike state. I liked your depiction of yourself with the dreams including the butterfly and the gingerbread man. The turtle reminded me of the sea and Stone Harbor where I spent a beautiful day yesterday with Uncle Henry and Aunt Debbie. The words you included on all four sides and the viewing of your picture from each side in turn were very revealing of various states of nature and human perception. This one, and your painting in general, reveal a level of understanding beyond your years and a natural artistic talent of which I am proud. Do you like working in oil pastel? I'll talk with you about it in person later today at Sophie's birthday party. I love you, Grandpa Tony
-- Anthony
- on May 16, 2011
Hi Hailey, Just like Marc Chagall's wonderful art, your's is also dreamy and just as wonderful. The young girl seems to be floating along in dreamland. It is so true that "Great art picks up where nature ends." All these things that you are learning in your art class are just great. Keep creating!Hugs, Josephine

Hi Hailey: Since you created such a beautiful tribute to your tooth fairy, I'm thinking she must have left a very special something under your pillow whenever you lost a tooth. The whole idea of having the tooth fairy, your house, your bed, the moon and the star inside the outline of a tooth is so clever. Have a happy Spring! Love, Josephine

- on March 25, 2011
My dear Hailey, what a lovely way to start my day! -- with a colorful, moving and joyful work of art by my darling granddaughter artist. The purple background with the swirling motion reminds me so much of the Northern Lights I saw on my recent trip to Norway and the region above the Arctic Circle. To think: while I was watching the wonderful natural phenomenon near the North Pole, you were creating a work of art which is truly beautiful. The tooth with your name upon it, and the fairy coming on a starry moonlit night to a bed in a little girl's home is an essay of unprecedented expressions. Congratulations!!! I love you, Grandpa Tony.
-- Anthony
- on March 25, 2011

Very interesting sculpture Hailey. Since you're the artist, I would have to ask you, what does it mean to you? To me it looks like a city with its tall skyscrapers touching the sky at night. As usual you did a wonderful job with this project. All your creative work is so much fun to look at. Thanks for sharing it. Love, Josephine
-- Josephine
- on February 18, 2011
Dear Hailey, what a nice way to start my day with a view of your new art, the purple sculpture!! It is striking in its presentation and color; and very impressive in the 3-dimensional impact it has on the viewer. The monochromatic aspect allows one to imagine all sorts of hidden forms and meanings being communicated by the artist. As always, you present an enigmatic, visually challenging, and personally satisfying look at your and our universe. I love you. Grandpa Tony

Dear Hailey: Collage is a fun artistic project and you did a very good job with yours. I see you had fun making a really colorful bird with fluttering feathers. It looks like your bird is ready for take-off to fly to every tree top in the neighborhood and have a happy day. Love, Josephine

Hailey, I am really taken with your new picture, Radial Design. I like the colors and the yellow background. The central flowers and the undulating lines or vines coming from the central area of the flowers to the periphery and ending in small leaves and flowers is very captivating. You have created a fine delicate lacework of lines that immediately catches the eye. What else can I say, except that you do wonderful pictures and I love you dearly. Grandpa Tony

Dear Hailey, this is one of your very best. The colors are brilliant and shout out from the surface with tones and melody enchantingly. The "reflections" of the mountains is a suble technique that is both innovative and effective. The juxtaposition of the colors and their arrangement on the canvas are most striking and masterful. The sun draws attention to itself with the position and size just right for this landscape. Wow, Hailey, I love it and am proud of your prowess as an artist! I love you. Grandpa Tony

I really like your penquin sculpture and your art work as well. The penquin looked so good at first I thought it was a 'stuffed animal' you placed inside your artwork.....not something you made yourself. I am so proud of your continued efforts to develope your artistic gifts. Keep up to good work!
