Kaitie (or Kaity?): You've done it again. It looks really wonderful, overall shape, colors, design--of course it would be best to see it in 3-D. I'll work on trying to get to see it from different angles (ask your grandmother to get someone--you?-- to take other photographs and send them to me. -- Jane

It's a handsome photo and does suggest the landscapes of certain master artists. I'd love to know who inspired it. -- Jane

I love this. A very strong image of yourself. It's been a while since I've laid eyes on you, so I don't know how much it looks like you, but I hope that's remedied this holiday. -- Jane

Nice. Heavy (elephant) and light (ears/wings) at the same time. And the space is like the sky. Good work, Kaitlyn. -- jane

Love the sentiment. The piece is interesting because collages are often smashed together and you have a lot of space between elements. And intriguing and unexpected elements, like the faces at the top right (maybe that's the dada part). Can't tell how big it is but it would probably work at any size. -- Jane

An interesting take on Rorschack (don't think I spelled it right). And quite feminine, with the pinks. It would be fun to analyze. Good work Kaitlyn. -- Jane

Well done, though it reminds me of what an artist friend of mine once said: "A portrait is a picture in which something is wrong with the mouth." -- Jane

Well, clearly you got the perspective lesson. But what a surreal image. Like Alice in Wonderland. -- Jane

Nice composition. Are the branches really so black? I must look next time I'm around some birch trees. -- Jane

Love it--don't know if it looks like you, but I'm intrigued that you have music notes in the background. Keep going--music and art, a good combination. -- Jane

I like the form but don't see the resemblance. Perhaps if I see you the next time you get to your grandmother's I will (it's been a long time since I've laid eyes on you, girl). -- Jane

An interesting painting. I can see the influence of Delaunay, but also a strong structure and unusual colors. (The art teacher is clearly a good one, too.) -- Jane

Very interesting painting. I can see the Delaunay influence, but it also seems unique. Subtle colors and strong structure. (There's clearly a good art teacher at work, as well.) -- Jane

The artist has depicted a lovely day at the park. It is so realistic, I am going to leave my office and go for a walk in Central Park right now.
