What a great take on Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa! I like how you captured the movement of the big crashing waves and balanced them with the calm peak of Mount Fuji in the background. Your blend of yellow and orange in the sunset creates a lovely sky that pairs nicely with the cool blues of the ocean. Including the little boat and its rowers shows you were paying close attention to the details of the original masterwork—you did a fantastic job bringing this scene to life!

This is an excellent exercise in overlapping and spatial arrangement! She did a wonderful job filling the page with a great balance of textures, shapes, and text elements. The contrast between the soft nature imagery and the bold sports graphics works beautifully. It is so wonderful to see her unique interests come together into such a cohesive, expressive piece of artwork!

I love your creation, Cora. The original Hokusai is a favorite of mine, but I like yours even better. You've captured the essence of the original and enhanced it with the Cora touch!
