Wow! The background design really makes the colors of the art in the foreground pop. The sky is so blue, the hills and trees so rich and green. I would love to go for a walk there. Nice work, Xavier. ??

You are learning so many different techniques to creating artwork. Printmaking sounds like another layer is added to your design. It looks like you added a frame to your painting. I want to hear how you did that. CC xoxo

I like this art Xavier, it reminds me of Vermont, your origin story ?

Xavier, I love to see how artists use color and design, often in ways or combinations that are surprising and fresh. I especially like the clouds of blue with the swirls in them. I also like the small group of trees that give the illusion of depth. Each time I look at the picture I find something new I didn’t notice before. Well done.

Xavier, this is an interesting interpretation of a still life. It reminds me of surrealism because of the undefined edges of the pizza and the plate, and the wavy lines in the background. Super cool!

Hi Xavier, This art project sounds fun! I have never heard of Gelli plate monoprinting. Tracing someone’s face and then using contour lines to great this portrait is very cool. Love your artwork! Xoxo CC
