Arlo, my love, this beautiful picture reminds me of French artist Henri Émile Benoît Matisse. He used color to indicate fluid movement and energy. You have mastered this, I do believe, with static, vibrating pastels! Well done, my darling.

To My Sweetie Pie,
I love the lattice crust on your cherry pie my darling it looks good enough to eat! You know cherry pie is my favorite (and I have heard Queen Elizabeth I was quite a fan of this dessert as well). As always, your artistic talents have me desiring more, just like cherry pie!

Arlo, this is so beautiful that I may have to order another magnet for the refrigerator! It reminds me of going cherry picking in Door County, Wisconsin, with your mommy! Great job, honey.

This snowy igloo reminds me of growing up in Wisconsin as a child. I really thought it was quite clever to add windows too so you can look out and see the snow falling. Great work Arlo!
