Lindsay has told me that this is self-portrait done in the Matisse style of painting. Isn't it awesome! Way to go, Lindsay. :) I think I'll have her paint me over the summer. Love, Mommy

Lindsay, Obviously your talent has grown. I see a much more mature artist in this painting. Well of course you are now 9 years old.... Happy birthday again. Love you Grandpa.

That is really, really beautiful. I had to double-check to make sure I was looking at the right piece, because I thought to myself, this must be the work of a professional :)
