I like your aluminum foil man. He looks like he is celebrating after winning a big race. Do you feel like this when you have done something that was hard for you? The colors you chose for the background really make your man stand out. Nice work!

Malachi, I really like the “Human Sculpture” you made! Is he working out in the gym? The colors on the wall behind him look like mats that hang on the gym walls. Your use of the dark colors helps to make your sculpture stand out. I got to see your artwork hanging in the hallway at school with others in your class. You did a great job! Your robot basketball player looks like he is going up for a slam dunk! What planet is he playing on? I see the earth in the background and stars in the dark sky. Can you jump that high to make a basket?

Malachi, I have really enjoyed seeing your artwork. I love your hearts and stars. The hearts within hearts make me think of nesting dolls where each doll has a smaller one inside it. I like how you used colors in the bottom, right corner. Did you use watercolor paints for this project?

Malachi, This is very interesting. Your art project reminds me of a bingo sheet where the items you marked with star X’s have been called and the other hearts have not. Row 2 from the bottom is all X’ed out! Did you win something? You will have to tell me. Love, Grandma Shelley

Malachi, Your Autumn Apples look really good to eat! I bet they are crisp, juicy and sweet. I love how the light shines on them from above. I would choose the red one to try. This looks like you and Dad are fishing at the lake. I think you are going to catch that really big fish that is swimming toward your boat. The blue water looks very real.
