Leo, What a clever idea to take a piece of cardboard and create a cat in PJ’s! The use of red yarn for fuzzy, furry pajamas and a red pipe cleaner for the tail makes the cat look so real. Well done

Leo—-you used all the colors of the rainbow and more. I really liked your use of many different sized shapes surrounding the face. Well done

Leo, This is an excellent portrayal of hot and cold by drawing the smiling sun and cold moon (using yellow/red for warmth and purple/blue for cold. And, what is also interesting are the many offshoots from the sun using warmth from smiley faces and love hearts and raindrops and lightening daggers indicating cold radiating off of moon as well as sleepy z’s. This is one of my favorites

I am very intrigued by this piece of art. Leo, you have displayed great symmetrical lines and nice backdrop. You, as an artist, keep the viewers wondering what it portrays. I think it looks like a lava lamp.

Leo---as I mentioned to you I really liked your art--and the way you detailed the bear's fur on his face and the colors he was wearing. I sent two postcards with this image---one to my Aunt Maureen and one to our friend Willie.

This polar bear looks so warm and cuddly. I am impressed with the symmetry of the designs on the sweater and the utilization of many patterns and colors. One of my favorites so far as well as Martin Luther King artwork.

I am impressed with every detail of the nutcracker’s outfit that is perfectly symmetrical as is his body. The beard and all parts of the face are great. I love everything about his looks.

I love that you get to use tempera paint and chalk - a great blend. Such a great blend of colors for the wings. This butterfly reminds me of Monarch butterflies. Looking forward to your next art piece.

I love the creativity expressed in the colors of the crown of tree. Also, the use of hand and forearm to portray trunk of tree is very imaginative. Overall very impressive!

We are in awe of your remarkable drawing of the otter swimming with some little fish. You thought of many details such as the plant life in the water and the beautiful sun placed in just the right location. Hope you continue with more artwork as you are very talented.
