Wow. That expression really made me stare at this awhile. I wonder what she’s thinking. I’ve seen lots of portraits but only a few have expressions that make you really want to study the piece. Great job.

Last post was like a Leonardo DaVinci study and this week looks like a Picasso. Hope you’re having fun with your class projects.

This looks like a Christmas kitty cat that got into a bit of a scuffle. Glad someone was able to stitch the little creature up. Get well soon kitty:)

Marinara makeup?! Brilliant.

What creative expression! I think I have worn that marinara makeup after a "just right" pizza!

I just learned about vanishing points a few weeks ago. This looks great! I love how pizza was the town's priority.

Hahahahahha this one is funny! My Papa Yawns……I see what you did there :-)

I am a fan of this one because you really showcased the distance features very well. I feel like that is a long road off into the sunset! Luckily there is a pizza joint just before said long journey!

Ava this piece reminds me of Italy. The streets with a Pizza place and both sides of the street with the doors to the locals apartments. Keep up the good work kiddo. You are so imaginative… love your work.

Changing to cooler colors on this one, I like the switch up. This looks like a water galaxy to me, very calming.

Ava, I love this piece and it’s just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. I see that you’ve got a little green four leaf clover there. Luck of the Irish! Great work

Of the ones posted, this is my favorite, I think. It is hard to decide which is my favorite, actually, but I like the messages in this one.

Cool and trippy monochromatic scene. All of the repetitions and varying shades of red/pink are calming to me. This reminds me of Dr. Seuss's artwork.

Really enjoy this and I agree it resembles stained glass. I could see this design on jewelry.

This is a cool still life, good attention to the details on the glue stick and scissors. Also I like the intensity of the orange background.

I like the colors you chose on this and the style. The repetition in line sequence seems relaxing.

Wow. This one makes you stop and think. The shading is good. Keep this and in a few years compare it to your new work. I still have drawings from when I was your age. It’s like having a journal, when you look at this later you will remember the feelings you had at this time in your life. Great job.

The perspective on this is really good. I like the energy surrounding it, like this shoe just came in from a long run. Awesome work!
