Isaiah! When I first saw this picture, before I read the art assignment, I thought it was a picture of a tie! I thought of your great-grandfather, Pappa (Paul) and how he loved wearing colorful, fun ties, something very few men wear these days. It made me smile to remember him with his countless number of ties. Now I understand it is the letter "I" for your name! It is STILL a lovely picture and just so you know...the word "tie" also has an "I" in it!

What a phenomenal self portrait. Your sense of humor, vibrancy, sense of fun is so apparent in this picture at first I thought I was seeing a lemon head, but that’s OK because I love lemons. Also particularly love the pattern of the shirt that this portrait is wearing. I also enjoy the added frame and the doodling on the frame. The whole picture has a sense of wonderment and joy. I’m very happy to share in all your work.

Wow Isaiah! This picture looks like "Lilies on the Water" that was done many years ago by one of my favorite artists, Claude Monet. It has the same softness, the same flow, the same colors. I LOVE IT! Aunt Marla

Hi Isaiah, this is quit exceptional. I love the colors and would love a signed original to hang so I can look at it every day.

Dear Isaiah, I love your self portrait! Even though you are even more handsome than your picture, you capture your sweetness, sense of fun and creativity. I see you are also learning to write your name, how exciting! The greatest love to have in your heart is to love yourself. I see in this picture that you do and that makes me very happy! I love you too!!! Aunt Marla

Dear Isaiah, I love your shy tiger peeping through the beautiful jungle plants. Why do I know he is shy? Because he is not showing his teeth! Besides, a sweet boy like you would never draw a mean tiger, right? Keep sending me your beautiful artwork. I love to see all your creations! Love, Marla

Ive always enjoyed reading Eric Carle books and especially The grouchy ladybug! This lady bug may be grouchy, but he/she sure is cute and radiant! (Just like Wilbur- the radiant pig). Thank you for sharing this sweet and colorful ladybug with your captive fanclub.

I love this happy, blue monster with the under bite! He looks very naughty- and like he’s hiding something! We need to explore his shenanigans! Very suspicious character!

Dear Isaiah, I really like your vision of the monster. Though I’m not familiar with the story, he looks friendly. He’d probably enjoy going out for ice cream. Live you buddy.

Very interesting painting- I can only imagine the jazz music you were listening to. I really enjoyed the colors, the balance and the shapes that you focused on. I look forward to seeing more of your artwork. I can see your creative mind in motion.
